Artesyn Embedded Technologies has introduced a new four-slot power supply case and a new hold-up module, both designed for the company's second-generation MicroMP (µMP) series of configurable AC/DC power supplies. The new µMP09 case delivers up to 550 W of output power from an 85-180 VAC input, and up to 1100 W from an 80-263 VAC input. Measuring just 256.9 x 88.9 x 40.0 mm, the µMP09 operates over a temperature range of -40 to +70°C, achieves a mean time between failures (MTBF) of more than 350,000 hours at full load, and fully complies with the third edition of the EN60601-1 and UL ES60601-1 medical equipment safety standards. The new hold-up module ensures that electronic systems continue to operate through extended input bus outages, meeting SEMI F47 requirements. Artesyn also offers the ConfigPro online power supply configurator, enabling customers to find their ideal solution from more than three million combinations.
