Artesyn Launches New 12kW Power Module for iHP Digitally Configurable High-Power System, Replacing Four Standalone Modules with One and Significantly Cutting Cost

Artesyn Embedded Technologies announced the launch of a new three-slot 50V/12kW power module for its iHP series of digitally configurable high-power systems. The module can replace four 3 kW single-slot modules connected in parallel while occupying only three slots, freeing up one slot for additional output modules and significantly reducing cost. The model TW power module provides a rated 50V output, adjustable over a range of 2.5V to 60V, and is suited to equipment requiring a higher-power output alongside multiple other outputs. The iHP series power systems feature analog or digital interfaces and support standard communication protocols including CANbus, Ethernet, and RS485, allowing users to control and monitor system functions through the PowerPro graphical user interface. The power series is used in medical equipment, industrial products, and horticultural lighting systems. Artesyn also offers the ConfigPro online power supply configurator, with more than three million combinations to choose from, helping engineers quickly determine the optimal configuration.
