At the Open Compute Summit, Artesyn announced a new series of power supplies compliant with the Intel Common Redundant Power Supply (CRPS) specification, including a 2400 W model with output power higher than competing products and a power density of up to 75 W/cubic inch. The CSU series offers power options from 550 W to 2400 W, with all models sharing an identical form factor and dimensions, housed in a compact sealed 1U-height enclosure measuring just 2.89 x 7.28 inches. The CSU series provides a 12.2V DC main output, making it ideal for distributed power architecture systems, plus a 12V DC standby output for power management, and is suited to enterprise data center, -48V data center, and telecom central office configurations. The products feature active current sharing, allowing multiple power supplies to operate in parallel and support N+1 or N+N redundant architectures. AC input models achieve conversion efficiency of up to 94%, meeting 80 PLUS Platinum certification requirements, and support remote configuration, monitoring, and control through a PMBus graphical user interface. All models include overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, overtemperature, and fan failure protection.
